Pizzo Tambo (3279 m), north face

The Pizzo Tambo is particularly elegant. It's a thin pyramid that contrast with its neighbors, a bit like the famous Cervino. The north face is incredible: 1400 meters high, ranging between 45° and 35° of inclination. With such a size, it's obvious that very stable snow conditions are necessary. After a consequent snow fall and then 10 days of great weather without snow, the conditions were perfect that day.
