Batnall (or Madone, 2748 m), west summit 2678 m

The village of Bosco / Gurin is a interesting historical case. Settled during the 13th century by a Walser community coming from Valais, it's the only germanic village in Ticino. Most of the places of the area have two names, one italian and one germanic. For example, Bosco is the italian name of the village and Gurin the germanic one. Insane skiers can be reliefed, these details do not prevent snow from falling.
