Ascent of technical summits

The ascent of about one half of the alpine summits requires some ice and rock skills. The routes are are too hard though, the snow slopes are not steeper than 40° and are usually short, and the rocky parts are about II, III, sometimes III+. Many handy beginers can climb these kind of summits, right now or after a first experience on an easy summit.

Here are some ideas :

Ecrins National Park : Barre des Ecrins, highest summit of the range (4102 m), Pelvoux traverse (3942 m), Meije Orientale (3890 m), Ailefroide Orientale (3847 m), Olan (3564 m), Agneaux (3664 m)...

Vanoise National Park : Grande Casse (3855 m), Mont Pourri (3779 m) south-north traverse, north face of Tsanteleina (3602 m), Grande Ciamarella (3676 m)...
